A Certified Handler is someone who has been certified by a Worksafe New Zealand authorised Trainer, to handle (receive, store, use and dispose of) very hazardous substances. If you handle acutely toxic (class 6.1a and/or 6.1b) toxic substances, fumigants and vertebrate toxic agents you may need to be a certified handler. This course will give attendees information on legislation requirements, classifications, chemical inventories & labelling, controls & safety date sheets, tracking & emergency management.
Certified Handler compliance certificate issued on successful completion.
Worksafe NZ approved program under the Health and Safety at Work Regulations
This course is delivered at your site and is tailored to suit your specific chemicals and has a minimum charge of 5 learners, may also incur travel costs
This certificate is valid for 5 years and has an expiry date.
