This confined spaces course is aimed at people taking on the role of a stand-by person or site supervisor who will need to understand the principles of confined space planning including roles and responsibilities, permit requirements, hazard identification and rescue planning. With written and practical assessment. Note this is a 2-day course that combines CS1 Confined Space Hazard Legislation with Planning a confined space entry. Optional standards can be combined on request, see below.
Unit standard 17599 Plan a confined space entry - level 4, credits 5.
Unit Standard 18426 Demonstrate knowledge of hazards associated with confined spaces - level 3, credits 4.
Optional unit standards 19207, 25510 and/or 3058 if required (extra fee applies).
This is a public, two day course per person On-site course option available, code CS2.
We recommend refresher training at least every two years (refer to course CS5).
