Together: A Book About Community
Together we are stronger. Together we can make a difference. And together we make a community. With her signature quirky monsters, beloved children’s book author Elise Gravel explains the importance of working together and creating community. Other people take care of us when we’re sick or hurt, teach us things and protect us. They help us in many ways, even if being surrounded by other people can sometimes make us feel bad or angry. Poignant and relevant, Elise emphasises the importance of friendship, creating support systems and how through connection and support, we can ensure that everyone in our communities is taken care of and safe. Our communities take care of us and we have to take care of our communities.
