SteriGENE is a high level disinfectant that uses nanotechnology to rapidly penetrate cell walls, preventing pathogenic mutation and resistance. Proven to destroy bacteria, viruses, fungi, spores and protozoa, and works up to 70% faster than conventional high level disinfectants.
Safe for both humans and animals, is non-toxic and non-corrosive.
Safe to use on most materials including rubber compunds, plastics, fibreglass, stainless steel, mild steel, aluminium, copper, brass and other materials commonly found in clinical practice (including synthetics floors, instruments and devices).
SteriGENE is non-selective and is effective against bacteria, fungi and viruses:
- Bacteria: Listeria monocytogenes, Salmonella spp., Lepospira spp., Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus spp., Proteusvulgaris, Pseudomonas spp., Mycobacterium fortuitum, Bacillus spp., Clostridium spp., Shigella spp., Klebsiella spp., Mycobacterium tuberculosis, Enterobacter bronchiseptica, Campylobacter spp., Campylobacter spp., Legionella spp., Clostridium difficile, Acinetobacter spp.
- Fungi: Microsporum spp., Candida albicans, Trichophyton spp., Penicillium spp., Aspergillus niger, Saccaromyces cerevisiae, Oidium lactis
- Viruses: Hepatitis A and B, Herpes, HIV, Poliomyelitis, Influenza, parvo, Newcastle disease, FeIV, FIP, FIV, Rota virus, Orthopox virus
