Made in the USA the connectors are rated at 40 amp continuous duty and are interchangeable with all other SAEJ560 plugs and sockets.
The earth terminal (Pin No. 1) is self-grounding (die cast only), has a peak rating of 70 amps and will accept wire sizes from 4.8mm2 The terminals inside the connectors are electro-plated solid brass to ensure minimal voltage drop and protection against corrosion.
