These loppers are comfortable and very solid. The aluminium handles are coated with a non-slip softened surface. PowerGear mechanism increases the shear strength of these loppers making cutting easier.
The PowerGear mechanism optimises the size of the loppers force with minimal effort, in particular: at the beginning of the cut, handles are widely separated and are easily compressed. Mid cut when the blade penetrates into the widest part of the br anches and the handles are their greatest strength. In these extreme positions the loppers will help by reducing the force required to press the handles.
