Pre filter for the Esab EPR-X1 PAPR unit. The main filter (HEPA particle filter) ESAB's fresh air fans are always supplied with a main filter of the P3 type which gives the highest HEPA filtration efficiency 99.8%. The pre and main filter, filters out damaging particles in the smoke, both solids and vapour borne. This means that particles containing aluminium, barium, cobalt, chrome, copper, manganese and nickel are caught by the main filter.
