The interchangeable anvil micrometer has a wide measuring range equivalent to 4 or 6 standard micrometers. Easy interchangeable anvils in 25mm steps permit a wide range of measurements; interchangeable anvils; setting standards and spanner are supplied with each micrometer in a fitted case. Glare free satin chrome finished sleeve and thimble with clear, crisp graduations and ratchet stop for consistent measurements.
Measuring face of the spindle is carbide tipped. Measuring face of the anvil is hardened steel.
