Established in 1859 in Celles-sur-Durolle by Antoine Delignčre, the history of Verdier cutlery and its family is rooted in the region. More than a profession, cutlery is a vocation. Six generations of cutlers have succeeded one another to offer the most exhaustive range of products in the French cutlery industry. Today, the André Verdier brand is exported to over 40 countries, with more than 6 million pieces produced each year.
Andre Verdier started production of the famous Laguiole style of knife in the 1970’s. It is genuinely French and one of the only truly French-made Laguiole.
