This 2 day confined spaces course is aimed at people taking on the role of a stand-by person or site supervisor who will need to understand the principles of confined space planning including roles and responsibilities, permit requirements, hazard identification and rescue planning. Covering unit standards 17599 + 18426, plus refer to optional unit standards below.
Unit standard 17599 Plan a confined space entry - level 4, credits 5.
Unit Standard 18426 Demonstrate knowledge of hazards associated with confined spaces - level 3, credits 4.
Optional unit standards 19207, 25510 and/or 3058 if required (extra fee applies).
Individual trainee option available through public course, code CS2I.
This is a group course delivered at your site (or ours) and it can be tailored to suit your specific requirements.
We recommend refresher training at least every two years (refer to course CS5).
