This Clairefontaine Cyanotype Discovery Kit allows you to experience the exciting process of creating non-photographic cyanotype prints. Cyanotype refers to a technique invented in the 19th century that makes it possible to obtain blue monochrome photographic prints using coated paper and light. You will only need a little water, sun, a photosensitive chemical solution. The process results in a beautiful positive image cyan-blue print after exposing it to ultraviolet light. With all the tools you need, you can jump straight into creating beautiful blue artworks! You will be accompanied step by step via the booklet provided, with clear and illustrated explanations, 2 vials one containing ferric ammonium citrate and potassium ferricyanide, 1 pair of gloves, 1 20ml pipette, 1 brush, 10 A5 sheets of 300g satin Fontaine watercolour paper.
