Some claim Mordred saved Gildas, but he would insist it was Gildas who saved him. He abandoned the pursuit of godhood, leaving the Grand Archive's halls behind and remaining in Cambria for the sake of the women who had seen the true him. Now, Mordred serves as the Fairy King, with Gildas at his side – his ambition tempered not by defeat, but by love.
