GMT Games - Churchill
Churchill is a three-player game of political strategy set during WWII, where players take on the roles of Churchill, Roosevelt, or Stalin. Rather than focusing on battlefield combat, the game explores the complex negotiations and rivalries between the Allies during ten historical conferences. Players must cooperate to defeat the Axis while competing to shape the post-war world through strategic decisions on military offensives, political influence, clandestine operations, and the global balance of power.
Through staff cards and issue control, each conference shapes events like partisan activity, government placements, and military advances across multiple fronts. Players use historical leaders to influence outcomes, each with unique risks and powers. If the Axis are not defeated by the end, all players lose—but if successful, only one wins the peace by earning the most Cold War points. The game supports solo and two-player modes with intelligent bots, and offers short, medium, and long campaign options. **Churchill** is a rich experience in cooperation and competition that challenges players to rewrite history from the conference table.
